This is one of the leading questions asked by DPT students. A person who can diagnose and treat diseases and disorders or a person who holds a doctorate degree in any subject is called a doctor. More precise terms which we use for doctors are physician, surgeon, dentist and in some countries physiotherapist also. They all use the prefix "Dr" with their names. My aim is not to clear the definitions but to clean absurd complexes and misconceptions from the minds of DPT students. The only thing that matters is how much you approach, an approach to see both sides of a picture, an approach to listen politely, an approach to answer new questions.
